Darkside Grooming began with a personal journey into
beard care that started in 2017. Back then, our founder’s grooming routine was
simple: grow it and show it. That all changed after discovering a basic beard
oil in a local shop. That first experience kicked off a deep interest in taking
proper care of facial hair - and what started as curiosity quickly became a
full-blown passion.

By 2020, he had joined the global bearded brotherhood known
as the Bearded Villains. It was here he was introduced to premium beard oil - a
product that didn’t just smell good but completely changed how his beard felt
and looked. The experience opened his eyes to the importance of real grooming.
For someone who’s bald, owning a brush, a comb, and even straighteners for a
beard became a badge of pride.

In 2021, he purchased a small Welsh-owned beard care brand and left in 2024 for various reasons. From
there, in 2025, he saw the demand from customers was stronger than ever. So, on
April 27, 2025 - his birthday - Darkside Grooming was officially launched. The
name? A random but perfect moment of inspiration while charging a red
lightsabre!

also work with talented marketing and photography teams. With a background in
customer service that earned national awards and multiple media appearances,
the brand is built on genuine relationships and real results.

In the next five years, we aim to become a household name in
the UK’s beard care space. We want to be known for making the best beard
butter, premium beard oil, and high-performance beard balm. There are even
talks of expanding into the fishing market and paranormal events - because who
says beard care can’t have a bit of mystery?
